What we should all realize in America is this: Yes, businesspeople are greedy,
but who isn't? To a degree, we are all greedy. I know I am. Do you think I work
for the sake of it? Monkey crap! I do it for the money.
There are greedy people on college campuses as well. Do you really pay
thousands of dollars and spend all those years chasing a degree 'cause you feel
like it? More monkey crap! You and many others do it because you know a degree
means potentially greater income. In some cases, exponentially greater income.
I believe that the worst businessmen in the world are the do-good types who
aren't greedy. A greedy businessman knows that, if he wants to make more mone,y
he has to deliver a good-quality product at a decent price. We live in a
value-oriented society. Given that, he less likely to cut corners because that
would result in an unreliable product. And, in our information age, if your service
or product sucks, then the world will know about it before the sun sets.
Greed, for lack of a better terminology, is good!
